    Hey guys

Just chasing some new 18" tyres in Brisbane. Preferably Nexen n3000s. Has anyone come across a cheap nexens in their travels? Best price I can find so far is $185 fitted and balanced (235/40/18). Appreciate any help,

    Pete

    I paid $165 for 17" (255/40/17) Nexen 3000s

so $185 for 18s seems pretty good for a good tyre.

Call Cook's Tyres in Sumner Park

and speak to the owner Brian. 37155455. Tell him Kris with the black 300ZX referred you and he'll certainly get you a great price. ;)

I would recommend checking with him for the price of Federal SS 595 tyres: http://www.federaltyres.com.au/ss595

Have them on the back, great tyre for a great price too! Not to be confused with the SS595RS, which is a semi-slick tyre.

Brian in Sumner park has matched the best price I could find, and sounds like a really competent mechanic. Will let you all know how things turn out.

    Cheers,

    Good to hear mate

And yes, I agree with hot300zx - keep away from the Nankangs! I also used to have them and they are dodgy... What brand are you planning to put on?
