Hey guys found that my rear tyre is wearing out in an odd way..I think it is brushing against the guard and cuting the tyre deep..it happened after instaling the new rims..what should i do for this..raise the car?? But I dont have adjustable suspension either..
your rear guard looks pretty much like it's touching the wheels. What are the specs on your tyres? Don't wanna go too big of a profile on an 18 inch
Cant really remember the offsets..so what can i do now..raise the car I guess..Is it very bad for the tyre..
Or roll the guards as Si suggested Edit: $1000 , can be done a lot cheaper than that. No I wouldn't keep driving with it like that.
of course its bad for the tyre lol,it will slice it and you will get a blow out you can always put new springs in,your old ones have probably sagged, new ones will raise it
well if it's just that tiny bit that's been taken off should be fine but still not that great. You don't have spacers or anything do you?
heres a $300 tyre of mine last year thats 10mins old ,although i have coilovers and had it very low,if you go over a pothole at speed, this is whats going to happen to yours
buy a guard roller only about $350 depending on where u live there are some mobile joints that will come to you and roll . Trev
is it going to help a lot..will it look funny after rolling the guards.. Can you see that the gueards are rolled??
