I have owned this car almost one year. I'm selling it as I almost never drive it. It's sat in the garage almost its whole life with me being driven maybe twice a month. I've recently caught the motorcycle craze and am almost exclusively riding my ninja zx6r. I go camping a fair bit and like to travel a lot and this car cannot be justified as it doesn't meet my requirements so I've reluctantly decided to sell it and maybe buy something a bit more sensible, most likely a 4wd of some sort. The car is mechanically very good. Compression testing of the engine showed very good results (mid 150's) which I am happy to prove to any potential buyer. Within the last two months the following work has been done: all the water hoses have been replace (including turbo water lines), all the vacuum lines have been replaced, all the fuel hoses have been replaced, all four cam seals have been replaced, new plenum gasket, injectors have just been cleaned and flow tested with new baskets pintle caps and new seals, royal purple engine oil. Driver side window runners and window mechanism has been replaced with new, various electrical connectors have been replaced. Oh and it has the best damn steering wheel I've ever seen. Extremely good condition.
Timing belt was done at 100,000
It has a few problems which I have not yet had time to fix. It has slight vibration at high speed due to worn steering rack bushings. (I have new ones in a box I just haven't had the time to install) I also have a one piece steel driveshaft from inland empire in the USA (apparently they make the best ones) I am yet to install. Second gear synchro is showing its age, have yet to try new oil which might help the issue.
The sound system is incomplete, it has a brand new pioneer head unit worth $350 and rear pioneer speakers worth $250 in Bose boxes that are not yet wired in. (I am yet to purchase front speakers)
The paint it in ordinary shape, the bonnet, front bar and rear bar need to be repainted.
