tt to n/a swap help!!

    are the air con lines and the charcoal canister the same on the tt and n/a? and does anyone have a tt a/c condenser they wanna through my way i can pik up wheneva

    No they are not. BUT I have a carbon canister and the aircon pipes here if you wanna come get em from Berwick. No condensor though

    whats the carbon canister? so i wont need to do anything to the a/c lines of the charcoal canister for the cooler piping to fit?

    The tt canister has an extra hose.....

    it's an extra valved vacuum line that goes to the inlet manifold before the turbo. I think it's purpose is to provide vacuum to the CC when you are boosting, it might also bleed off some pressure buildup in the CC when on boost.

    Na's don't need it because the other two hoses (plenum and throttle body) are always under vacuum.

    You could still use the NA canister in a TT if you moved the throttlebody hose to the inlet before the turbo. You could probably even block off the hose to the throttle body completely. It appears its only purpose is to evacuate the CC fumes at idle anyway.

    I reread it and I think he meant the drier bottle.

    He said charcoal canister :rolleyes:
