Ok iv'e been quiet lately as iv'e been busy with work as well as trying to get the zed finished with mods (the NOS is here along with a wolf 3d but will not be added till i get an outcome in this TT deal) for the glasshouse mountains cruise and i had this dilema thrown at me, well ok not a dilema but a big ass cherry dangled in front of me :p
As per the heading i have been offered a 92 TT in extremely good condition at an attractive price, nb: Attractive means holy cr@p batman!!
I don't want to get stuck with or keep the 12th month 91 NA as well as have a TT so was wondering if i should go for it and get the TT (yeah ok i know how stupid that question sounds, after all i am Psycho :p) and how hard should it be to move the NA considering its still about 2 and a half years before more will be here under the 15 year rule.
Any thoughts appreciated guys and gals

I'd get the TT IMHO- If you want power b/c>

that way you are starting from a strong baseline.Nothing wrong with modding an NA, but on a cost p/power basis it's cheaper to start with a TT @ around 220Kw stock, from there doesn't take much to get to 300Kw.Factor out the cost of getting the NA to that level and you may find that swapping to the TT and selling the NA for a slight loss is cheaper in the long run.I did this whole exercise b4 I bought my zed (modded NA V stock TT). TT made the most sense.BTW: Just ensure the TT is as good as you think it is ... "better the devil you know" ...;)

    Just a little confused - NA's should be >>

available this month or next month, as they started manufacture in June/July of '89... I've currently got an NA Z which was manufactured in September of '89, in Japan... So you shouldn't need to wait this 2.5 years before any become available =) :YD :-Z

It depends. I have owned both, but decided I

needed a TT to pursue my new found passion for the track. But for show, I think NAs are still quite a nice car. I probably wouldn't have bought the TT otherwise.

From an NA owners point of view......

Contary to popular belief, the NA is actually a nice car. Is it fast?? Yes, well at least I think so. For a 15 year old car it still gives grief to a lot of cars on the road. Is it as fast as a TT?? No, of course not. Its really up to you. I say, if you've come across a nice TT for a good price, then get it.Cheers

But thats the reason for owning an NA ....

... the car costs less to buy, insurance costs less, maintenance costs less..... and belligerent tt owners make modding the NA cheap by convincing us to not bother too much :+)
