Ok, after a shocking chain of events in the recent months - I'm now selling this car for a stupid price. $5k unregistered. There is nothing wrong with the car, I just have no time or money to spend on getting it registered now and have to move!

This is a steal for the price - inspections and test drives welcome. Please contact by phone - My old mobile died recently, but I'll give preference to the guys who were interested last time (you'll have to tell me when you call - I lost all my phone numbers).

    Quick sale preferred. :(

How does the permit system work in QLD? Do you need an RWC to permit a vehicle to a new location (i.e. SA)?

Aaah hell. I'll just call you.

Lawlz. This affliction, it gets hold of you like a rabid rottie, yes? I've been looking at overseas holidays but now this?! At this price!!!???

I don't wanna p!ss anyone else off that had previous dibs, but it's a new day, a new thread about the same ride - looks like fair game to me:confused: I'm gonna do it. I have to. I just hope Trent can see that if he shakes my hand on this that it will go to a hapless Z addict that will lavish it with TLC.

    Period of issue

Depending on the journey and type of vehicle, a permit may be issued for up to seven days. However, the application must be for the most direct route in the shortest possible time. A permit will be granted only for the length of time required to make the journey and is valid until midnight on the last day of the journey.

A permit is issued per calendar day, not for 24 hours from the time of purchase (for example, if purchased at 4 pm it will still expire at 12 midnight).

    you can get permits ---

But before you do this - you will need to purchase 3rd party insurance for the days you wish to use the vehicle in order to get the permit.

    cover letter

You can just aquire a cover letter (was free for me through AAMI) through your current insurer which will cover you for I think 2 weeks or so.
