Alright.... thought I'd give it a month for any problems to surface.... and none has.

Alljap at Virginia engine in / out price is $800. They bolted on turbos I supplied and replaced a few gaskets neglected by others in the past and some other stuff...... for another couple of hundred $.

They did not scratch a panel.
    There are NO oil leaks.
    There are NO water leaks.
    Misc missing screws....ALL replaced.

I have paid $2k in the past for an engine in / out. I have heard of others paying more.

$800..... Alljap.....1 week go to woe....... best job ever.

Cra-Z-Boy no nissan at all :(

Good price but it was Alljap and I wouldn,t let them anywhere near a zed or any other car .
You better look and see if the did put your Turbos on .
My Family had to take these guys to court 4 years ago for replacing a head on a Toyota Crown ,well replacing the head is what they charged for but they only replaced the head gasket and the head was dead again 5 weeks later .
Man, check everything out with a fine tooth comb

Would've been even cheaper if you did it yourself! ;)

Hey.... I know what you are saying. their workshop is crap and the dudes working on the cars look like hell :)

    BUT...

We have several performance cars in the family and out of the thousands spent, at a variety of shops.... only Maxfix ( rotary stuff) and Alljap have done a 100%, no problem, NOTHING at all..... JOB. Nil marks on the paint. No extra scratches.... no leaks of an kind....nothing.

Credit where credit is due and all at a dirt cheap price.

I recon you could find someone to say somthing bad about every workshop in this country. I'm just saying I have paid 'top dollar' X 2 before for work and had it done to a sub standard level.

Alljap were cheap and did the job 110%. They phoned me and to advise I had a dodgy engine mount.... and suggested I replace it with a good second hand one they had for $10. They phoned me to ask if I wanted particular hoses replaced, that were not part of the job, but felt they needed doing while the engine was out. Cost..... $20.

Cheap, quick.... all with good service.

Mate, if your happy with the work that was done on your car, that's all that matters.
There are heaps of fools out here, who knock everyone and everything, because someone "told them something".
The only people who have any right to offer criticism, are those who have had bad dealings with a particular workshop(and only when it is clearly the fault of that shop).:zlove::zlove::zlove:

Sounds good. If they did a good job and 16 hours @ $50/hr is an alarming low rate, you did well for yourself:)
