TT engine identification

    no but because they are so far apart 168 to 240 that is a problem unnecessary uneven loads on crankshaft

    Those compression test results are no where near accurate. 240psi is approx 14:1 compression ratio.

    Try a new gauge, even though it may be accurate at 80psi, it may be a long way out at 180psi.

    It is not valves sticking either, that would show low results. Are you cylinders half full of oil or something?

    I might try another gauge then,
    Also, a few drops were used in each cylinder then sprayed around because it hasn't been started in 3 or so years. It was a very small amount. 2 or 3 drops.

    You are testing with ALL the plugs out arnt you?

    Dont do them with one plug at a time out. As the battery flattens while you are cranking readings can change.

    $20 says your compression tester is inaccurate or the way you are using it is flawed. :cool:

    Where in Vic do you live?

    All spark plugs are out, tester reset each time after use. But it might be the tester. I'll try to get hold of another one.
