So I was just wondering what I could do with $1500 give or take to the engine of my TT motor (stock basically ) to give it more rwhp and also just make it a nicer motor in general?

    1500 isn't much

    Air filter
Turn boost up to 12 psi (without intercooler upgrade)
    Cat back

    Might need 2000

you can spend half of that on just getting a good tune and get the ecu chipped if it isnt already.

will probably be looking at around 700$

other than that you need a lot more money to look into bigger turbo's or intercooler upgrades.

ebay front mount or not even bother actually.

boost controller, chip tune and a quality catback exhaust. boost to 15 or 16psi on a manual, maybe a bit less on an auto. should get u knocking on the door of 300rwhp

As rob said, 120k service kit, with new connectors, hoses, under-plenum bypass, deletes, cam covers re-sealed.

Will get very little, if any change out of that, and that's performing all of the labour yourself, but better having a solid foundation before attempting any bolt on mods

Doing that will probably make it faster :p Unless it's been looked after the det sensor is probably rooted and you have a hundred and one boost leaks.

Cost also comes down to who is doing the work .

Some places like to bend you over .

Looking at the photograph you sent me of your timing belt, I would suggest that you have already completed the 120K service. Nistune chipped ECU, I used EFI Performance, Southport. I understand that Karl 90TTZ can also tune these ECUs. I will be using him next.
