read his list on things to learn.

    lessons are
    1) be familiar with your driver
    2) your not invincible, &^%#! that you dont expect CAN happen
    3) your passenger, when they ask to slow down/stop, respect their wishes
    4) if your going to drive a performance vehicle with performance mods, then every mod you do, mod the safety aspects too to match..
    5) i wont have another modified vehicle without a cage in it..

    Heh

I watched that thing leave 2 long black marks as it blasted past me standing on the side of the road 4 days before that happenned. The roads were greasy and we decided with 450rwkW we should maybe take it easy and not take it for a thrash, looks like that wasn't such a bad choice :)I've heard more specific details of the crash (which I won't go into), but the occupants were VERY lucky and should thank their lucky stars it had such a serious cage.Take it easy peeps.Ben

    A roll cage is great

when you slam into a tree at 200kph. A roll cage is bad at 50kph when you're on the street with no helmet, and a minor accident turns into major head trauma, even with padding. For a street car in terms of safety, a roll cage does more harm than good (and I did some business with the Monash Accident Research centre, so this is not just my opinion).Ben

Sorry I do not see the funny side >>>

just thank your lucky stars you were not travelling in the oppposite direction as he crested the hill and lost it. People like him should be canned for life, just plain irresponsibility.

    Agree should not drive again.

That MCCR club is nothing but a reason why young drivers should not be in such cars.I have worked with Mark (MCCR President) damn nice guy but a hoon and certainly not shy of the odd peice of being reckless.Would go out and buy ticket in the lottery if I was in that car, as you are so lucky you would have to win it.Good reason for the police to have a crack down on imports really, last thing we needed ;-(RegardsMark

    red32 You talkin' to me?

    Did anyone notice...

that Mark said he was NOT driving at the time, that he was the passenger and had asked to be let out 'cause the driver was scaring the s**t out of him? It certainly isn't funny. I think Mark has to be one of the luckiest unlucky guys around. There'd be no point buying a Tatts ticket, his luck has been all used up!

I did notice that, but as I said

having worked with the guy he is a hoon, and endorses hooning behavior.Do you really think though that Mark had no idea that the guy who was driving was going to be a dickhead? My opinion anyway.RegardsMark

    Wow, must have been flying!

That skyline has semi-slicks on it similar to my car, you have to be going SERIOUSLY hard to unstick them.
