Rolled up to Oran park today along with Ports and some of the Skyline Guys for one of their open practice days on the grand prix circuit. Was surprised at the number of cars there, had to split us up into four divisions so everybody got equal track time. Was also surprised to see Kerry Baily's Zed there with another surprise, Glen Seaton driving it. Those sports sedans are so quick, theres not much of the Zed left on it, but it still looks like one and it was good to see it flying around My luck is still not in, fixed the oil leak i had at the island only to be replaced by a water leak today, Bit hard to see, (think its a heater hose), then to top it off i cracked a brake rotor, putting paid to my day. some pics. How do you guys keep abreast of these track days? I spoze it's a skyline organized thing most of the time? I'll have to organise my CAMS licence, I can't wait to hit the track again.
There's always something going on, the rotary boys, sydney z car club, skylines aust, the Eastern creek website,oran park, to name a few, all list their days. just have to pick what suits you. be good to have another Zed along to the track days. Forgot to give a big ups to Wayne (Ports) who gave up some track time today, by going back home and picking up a spare rotor, so that i was able to drive home again.:thumbup:

Sorry mate, was plenty of discussion about it over on SAU, thought you would have seen it. thats a 30 cm ruler the Glen is using to clean the marbles off that tyre with Pete, and it didn't fit across it,
Nice pics Wiz, got any of me with my eyes closed down the straight?? Actually Pete, Seto's cleaning up MY WHEELS!! That Zed weighs in at 1135kg's with Baily at the wheel and a 50kg handicap, it's so quick in a straight line it's watch slows down and it's quicker round the bends. Last session just the 4 of us left and having a little "team wang racing" with a GTR 34, GTR 32, S15 and my Zed. We were doing mid to low 20's at the end of the day. Too much fun had on a lazy wednesday.
