it's not like he's towing a caravan, he's towing a jet ski, which is a water sport

Have to get one custom made like i did, and Pexzed did. Will only be able to tow max of around 1000kg though, so will suit Jetski or small boat, or very small caravan. :)

Can't get them from anywhere anymore, so just get one made and engineered.

Agreed. A caravan? Not a good idea. A jetski or bike, go for your life. The Zed is more of a GT anyway, so it's not so out of place.

It still looks shit. Its what 4x4's are for, not sports cars.

not something to carry with your everywhere obviously. You can take the ball off. IMO it's the perfect holiday to me. Take the misses away to a quiet spot up the coast in my nice smooth sports car, then take the jet ski out for a bit of fun on the water. As for benny towing a mini, shame on him :p

get a 4x4.:rolleyes: what a way to wreck a nice car imho.

^^ agreed 100x. like putting 30" rims on a stock height 4x4, you just dont do it.

    regardless looks shit.

my opinion though.. smooth sports car? lol, you must be kidding! if the thing would start first :p surely would make it half way then stuff up..
    gotta love 300zx's...

    a never ending WTB list.

I wasn't talking about your unreliable POS, I was talking about mine :p Starts first time, every time. Never broken down on me.

    I don't follow your reasoning.
When my tow bar is off (the tongue and ball), you'd never know it was there, but I can tow if I need to.
Mine is engineered to tow my 2 ton should it ever be necessary, although it won't tow the caravan, as that requires weight distribution and the ball weight of the van is too high.
It's a great addition if done properly.

Mine bolts directly through the chassis from left to right and vertically. Very strong.

On the 2+2 the fuel tank needs to be dropped a little for the installation, took the engineering place about 4 hours to fabricate and fit.

interesting but still i have to agree with mr zed ex it is shameful to put a towbar on a sports car.

Disagree. It was quite an awesome sight seeing my Zed towing both my bright yellow Seadoo jetski and my Ski boat behind it. Got many looks and thumbs-up as i drove it around.

And like Pex said, when you're not using it, just 2 bolts to remove the tongue and you don't see a thing, back to normal. But you at least have the option!
A mod that i'm very, very glad i put on!

would be great for track days.... where everyone wants to bring their semi-slicks/slicks and dont wanna drive to the track with them on..

could be very helpful to some people.

    or

you could use your daily ZX to tow your race ZX to the track :)

Its a great idea and something i might be considering doing to mine very soon, towing the jetski with the zed comes in very handy! Whats cheaper and more convenient buy a 4x4 just for the towbar so your zed doesnt look "stupid" or installing a tow bar....

why not tow your landie or patrol to the track with the Z, then if the Z breaks down you can tow it back with the landie or patrol :bash::bash::D (it's baaack), towing anything with a Z, it's almost sacreligious, not to mention ghey ( not that there's anything wrong with that [TIS])
