My Turbo 2+2/Z32 300ZX is fitted with Japanese Tien coilovers which are height adjustable, there in perfect condition and cost around $2000 dollars but I find the ride to hard for me. If any one would be interested to swap their standard springs and shockers if there in good condition and willing to pay for the install for both cars I would be happy to do the change over. Please email me at colin29@msn.com ASP. Thanks Colin
uhh your making a big mistake, swapping $2000 coilovers for stock rubbish. if they are in good condition why don't you sell them and get some good quality springs and adjustable shocks
Stock suspension in top nick is better than Tien coilovers for daily driving imo. AGX shocks and elbach springs are a very good alternative, great ride and can be adjusted, hard or soft.
lol I'm in Qld and can be organised sooner than Chad's a.s.a.p. Unless my shocks and springs are different to everyone else's or this has turned into an auction then I am looking forward to the swap. Car is on stands. Tools are ready.
Aww your to soft. go buy a camary You will be lucky getting standard shocks in good condition, your better of selling these and buying new.
agreed you are much much better off selling your tiens off and getting a new set of springs and shocks, think about it.......standard shocks and springs of standard zeds nowadays will have travelled approx 100km over apporx 10years. overall, good luck with whatever you choose to do buddy!
spring rate Yes the spring rate is too hard for me, I am just to old  Its ok on a smooth road but going over tram lines, its to hard on the old body.
This is true Colin. Original springs will have some sag and will mean that you will need adjustable upper arms for the front and rear camber arms to compensate for this. Otherwise you will wear out the inside edge of all your tyres. You would be better I think to sell your set rather than swap. I'm sure the buyer will give you some time to have your set removed and in this time you can buy whatever you need. Either 2nd hand stock and everything else needed or like was mentioned you could go for a different setup alltogether. Hope this helps.
Thank you for your help, I have now made a deal with a local person, who is happy to change shockers. I can now get back to a soft ride. :zlove: Thanks to all the people that messaged me and gave me advise.
