I went out to Motorex Car show today to see Matt and Greg's Drift Zed. They were there with Drift Australia. I have watched this project progress over the past year and it was quite exciting to see her taking the crowds attention over the pavilion of show cars and bikes. The roll cage in this Zed is just a work of art... awesome example of their ability. Matt made the cage. Not Zed related at all but what a beautiful engine... 1264HP The airbrushing comp had some stand outs this year... The detail in this was beautiful...in a scary kind of way. Last one.. The Sureflow Drift Zed is planning to be making its debut at round 3 of Drift Australia series at Eastern Creek Raceway July 29/30, providing all goes well with fitting the engine.... I'll post up info closer to the time, hopefully a few of us locals might be able to get out to watch him!
haha, no engine?? but it has an intercooler!! hey, wouldnt that lower lip of the front bar flap everywhere with nothing to support it?
Well it looks like someone had a fun weekend!!! Looks like there was plenty to see Caz. Love the colour scheme on the Zed, & nice use of an NA front bar. Will look unreal seeing that thing on the track. Wonder if there's enough room in the Zed bay to fit that boat engine *wink*
that air brushing looks sick as!!! go slipknot!!! hehe The car would look better if them 2 blondes where not in it!!! Sorry if it is any of you... I like to look at the car not the chicks standing next to it...
Hey Caz, nice pics. Is it a coincidence that you have a pic of a boat engine and a pic of a boat without an engine? LOL. Is that zed from the workshop near Ingleburn?
lol zeds front lip prolly comes off so its only on for show? intercooler is also for deco since its a single turbo IC. nice pics tho caz.
The car isnt finished yet you picky lot of critics!!! *sticks tongue out* There aren't many Zeds competing in National Drift comps so as a Drift fan it will be great to see this one out there, purpose built. Fantastic promo for our beloved 300's. Caz..
Hahaa, good call Ports!Yes its Matt and Gregs car from Sureflow Exhausts at Ingleburn That boat engine was just beautiful......would love to hear it run.
I agree on seing a Z in the drift australia series... But that wing.... I mean does it really have to be THAT big, don't get me wrong Im all for downforce and all... but geeez
Caz do you have any bigger pictures of it??? Its good to see a zed in the drift!!! Hope it gives all the others a run for the money...
gonzo's nose ...!!!!!! great stuff, gonz .. good to see that those gun guys only pick a top shelf nose .. just hope that it does not drip/run or all of the above ..!!! p.s .. the zed colour scheme is also tops .. good luck in your endeavour guys ...!!!
