Hey people!

Ok I got some time today to install 1 of the BOV's.

So far so good....
My zed ran fine! no leaks..no rev hunting..did not stall :thumbsup:

The sound from these BOV's is best described as a loud whip... as in "hooutching"
Sounds a lot like my turbosmart vee port bov on my 180sx.

I also sealed the adapter to bov with some good ol selleys knead it.

I've heard 2 different sounds for a genuine HKS bov...

On my mates R33 GTST running only 11 pounds it makes a low pitched 'gushing' sound but on this MR2 that cruises past my work somtimes, hes running 17psi or somthing, alot higher than the 33. It makes the sound its known for, the high pitched whistle like sound.

Both running the same genuine HKS bov even tho these arnt the HKS ones the cheaper autobarn job (monza) has the whistle also??

I used the bottom rubber feet from a stool i found in my panel beaters workshop :thumbsup: perrrfect size hehe

**NEWS FLASH!!! MURDER!!! Panel beater slips off stool and cracks his head open. Acts of sabotage detected as police find rubber feet missing from his stool**

Any exhaust shop should be able to weld them for $10?

I would... but i really got no time at all and i suck donkey wangs at welding.

I destroyed 2 adapters before i got these right:thumbsdown:

Are these the 'monza' ones you get from autobarn?

Also can these BOVS take the interchangable 'fins' like the HKS ones to alter the sound from high to mid?

Ive got GFB hybrid but im after a diff sound so yeh thinking bout this for sure. You know also there is an adaptor to turn them into plumb back they are made again for the HKS do you also know if they will fit these?? (and of course make the same sound while being in plumb-back mode.
