Last month I wrecked a front tyre on the way to Townsville. No Probs, I'll put the spare on that I checked before I left. Went to put the spare on and It Didn't fit. Wrong stud pattern. Was I pissed. Who would put a spare in the car that didn't fit...Well, I had to get a lift to Townsville, get a tyre fitted and get back. All in all , 6 hours. The missus spent the whole time with the car on the side of the road, in 40 deg heat. Yes, she got burnt.. Today, I checked the nieghbours BA XR8 stub pattern, because they are supposed to be the same, and there different. Funny thing though, it is the same size as the spare. I worked it out that the Volk Racing wheels I have on use a spacer that changes the bolt pattern, I took the spacer off using the tools in the car, and presto, the spare fitted. 6 hours wasted. We both laughed though. We live and learn...
Flat spare First time I had a flat found that the spare needs to be pumped up (2 seater) but there was no pump. Live and learn and laugh about it!
Just aswell she had a good sence of humour:LOL::LOL::thumbsup: shes a keeper ,someone that understanding is always good in my books:zlove:
I just cheked my spare the other day... and instead of a tyre I found a few hundred metres of audio cable on a roll, I dont think you can use those cart wheel tyres any way if your car is lowered, can you? Stupid me not even checking that before I buy the car, I didnt even have the tool kit. I just wanted mt twin turbo Z. :zlove:
