Yeah but you cant say that the aussies didnt have a chance to win. It was a close game. Im sure if that open goal wasnt missed it might of been a different result but I guess plenty of missed opportunities on both sides.
Yes, I think the Socceroos acquited themselves very well. Very close game - nothing to be ashamed of there. *thumbsup*
What a game! More than our result against Japan, this game will cement the Socceroos reputation as a formidable squad, a side which does not do well to be underestimated. Bring on the Croats! In all fairness if Australia plays as well as they did last night, and Croatia continue to play lethargically we have every chance of walking away with a 2-0 victory and will have certainly have earned our spot in the top 16.

Yeah, couldn't believe the attack we put on after the first goal against us. We just kept pushing and must have had 4 or 5 good attempts on goal. But as soon as ronaldo got benched I knew we were in trouble. Heck is they had of had a decent player on to start we woulda been down at half-time. See the volley he missed in the first half right in front of goal? I know he wa a superstar in his time, but I think he just has to let go hehe.
i was a bit dissapointed.. we had many an oppurtunity to score.. but we kept missing.. and anyone who didnt watch the game will think we had our ass handed to us as it was 2-nill, even though we did pretty well and there was no reason for that last goal
