The Skyline boys are set to regas their cars with Hychill a propane Butane mix gas. Auto airconditioners leak small amounts of gas out the front compressor seal . Small leak,Spark plus Propane equals big bang. For those that don`t believe read the Hychill specs 7.2. :zlove:
I wouldn't think the small amount that leaks would be enough to cause an explosion. The LEL would not accumulate to a high enough percentage, especially when driving. However if the leak was bad enough that may be a different story. I work in a Hydrogen Plant and the gas pressures ranges from 2000kPa to 40,000kPa with surfaces on some vessels reaching 300 degrees and I'm still here I've read a lot on using propane as a refrigierant and apparently is used in the US quite a bit. Supposed to be better than any other refrigerant gas available but not used due to it's hazardous properties.
Explosive mix 1.2 percent by memory, I also have a gas fitters licence. Check out the second page on zed related, with a young lad in Qld that dropped the gas while the motor was running ,this gives it fire results for the unexpected mechanic.:zlove:

yeah and ????????,i was trying to be politically correct to one of our members,but ill make it more plain then i think the suggestion that dont use hychill because its going to make your car blow up is absolute bullshit ,they said the same about petrol in the early 1900's as well (chili will remember that lol ,sorry Lloyd,couldnt help myself )

the other day i went and got my aircon system flushed out (sucked out) and refilled with hychill. It gets very nice and chilli in the car now plus i have the added advantage of not having to use c4 if i want to blow the car up :bash: :banned:
For people that know what C4 is .Warning as long as it doesent leak into the car interior you can`t expect the the same results as C4. I dont think thar a leak to the interior is a high probability.:zlove:
