Well after 16years 5 months and 10 days, I sold my Zed.

I havnt posted on this site for a couple of years, so only a couple of the older members may remember me.

Some Stats. Bought car (Aus. delivered) new in 1992, for the sum of $85,760.

    Sold last friday for $6500.

    Genuine 185468Km.

All servicing done, never bingled, always shedded. And it still has the original unmodified PTU in it.

Sad to see it go, but you do eventually outgrow these things.

Just before it left last friday.

You would think it would be worth more being an Aus Spec in such good nic.

This brings up a question, how many people on here have owned their Zed since new?

    red32 You talkin' to me?

    So sad, GeeT!
16 years on, and still stock! What's wrong with you?
And I hope you're wrong about outgrowing them.
PS: Mine ('90 Aus-spec) has the same mileage (185,+++), but there's no way I would take $6.5K for it! Are you trying to undermine the value of these cars?

ok so aus spec makes it NA

but no way should you have let a pristine 1992 go for that low

Did someone say "red book" to you?

Its an old Jedi Mind trick... ffs!!!

No you dont. Take a walk around a Z club meet sometime, lots of oldies still very much dedicated to the Z car!

That's a shocking devaluation though, ouch!
