Was going through the US EBAY for a look on Z32 parts and found this.... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...650788&viewitem=&sspagename=ADME:L:OU:AU:1123 I had to put a bid in and use the credit card. [/IMG] [/IMG] The kit arrived at my doorstep for $AU560. Being a new product so new to the Zed market i am very happy this came up in time for my build.
good buy! if those injectors are the ones from the first topfeed kits they aren't the best . Theres been a few tuning problems They have since changed injector suppliers.
Yeah, someone else started the bidding at US$499.00,I bidded being $504.00 and i put my Max bid down for $740. The owner even started a thread on US300zx club....too advertise the top feeds were then being listed for sale on ebay. I hope the injectors are ok. I will have to research on any probs with the first Win factory releases. Being used for only 300 miles i assume the previous owner would have had no probs for a refund if they were faulty.I had better ask.
i saw these and was gonna bid on it but the seller never got back with a question i had about shipping these to me b4 the end of sale. good buy hope they all work well
Just get the injectors flow tested before you fit them. A few extra $$$s will save you in the long run if they are dodgy
Hope it works out. Ya, seems a bit odd to use them for 300 miles and then sell them. The most prevalent was the injectors, but I thought I saw numerous threads on 3ZC with people experiencing a host of other smaller issues.
Nothing wrong with them injectors. They're Bosch EV14's. Pay paticular attention to your fuel pressure and you'll be fine. Might be an idea to get them checked, perhaps easier to just do a simple CC test yourself with a battery. In fact... tuners rave about these injectors. EV14's are OEM on a host of modern engines, including the LS2. Nismo and Sard are considered good injectors, these are better IMO. (not 30yo technology) VERY good buy! Aus retail is $200 per injector alone.
They are great injectors ... but they start at 52lbs and depending on WHO (which company) flow matches them (redrills)will depend on well your car idles and tunes through the rev range. First batch 870cc.. poor drilling thats why the first batch from mattz top feed had problems with idle and difficult to tune. Injector Dynamics EV14 are the ones to get. Best setup is to buy just the top feed rail and adaptors then buy the Injector Dynamic injectors seperate
I am checking the injectors with a closer eye and the number "72" has been engraved on to the casing. This is peculiar as it is a personal engraving, not factory. Factory numbers on the plastic body are 0280 158 117,printed on all 6 injectors. There are alot of other numbers.
Yes... ...get the 1000cc injector though so cool for E85 and or headroom. Plus they rate them on fuel not some mineral oil or whatever they use for official testing. Will idle fine. http://blog.evans-tuning.com/2009/01/19/bosch-1000cc-saturated-injectors-introductory-special/ $120USD per injector is pretty damn good.
