Many thanks to fairladyZTT and others who attended my mini Tech Day last Saturday. Despite the heat (pardon the pun) much was achieved, and my Zed is finally back on the road after its overheating problems. I am most grateful and can assure everyone only the snags and a few small bottles were harmed...
Hey hey, why didn't I know about this?! LOL. Good to hear that your zed's back on the road, Mike! Hope to see you soon...
Gotta clean it first and, hopefully, find time to get some paint on it.... But, I really am chuffed about the plenum pull and other work that got done! I was waaaay out of my depth and just stood around like the village idiot, making cuppas and bringing drinks from upstairs, but still ended up with an aching back and sore feet!! And, I was so pleased and 'smiley' about all that got done I really didn't get much sleep despite being so tired. I know I'm much older, but how the hell those doing the work get on after a day like that sure beats me...!!!
Hey Mike, This one passed me by as well. I could have come down and joined you in the elderly statesman corner and helped you point at stuff. ....or played around with your tail lights. :bash::bash::bash:
Hahaha.... 'Twas a non-advertised event, Barry, mainly 'cause mikemd's current crop of eBay vehicles occupy three of the ten Visitors Carpark spaces in my complex! The corporate body watchdog witch walked past twice on Saturday when fairladyZTT in his beautiful bright yellow Zed and son Cameron in his immaculate (and very fast! Phew!) black S14 added to the spaces taken... Besides, I'm beginning to get a bit sus' about you wanting to play around with my car's tailights. She is spoken for, you know.... Nor did I just ".. point at stuff"... I contributed a continuous stream of ES comments and enthusiastic outpourings of gratitude. I took the furrowed brows and stern looks simply as concentration...
