ok, so i had an accident in my zed on the way to work yesterday. the rad support is gone and a rough quote to fix the chassis+ weld in new rad support is around $2000, thats with me supplying all the parts so it aint happening. i'm looking at buying a rolling shell, if i can get it i will be interested in holding a tech day/weekend, have a few of you come round and give me a hand in putting in the gearbox and engine and maybe if your able to, get the car going. i live in kiama, about 30 minutes south of wollongong. if this does go ahead i will happily provide enough pizza and beverages(alcoholic beverages...) to go round and keep us all happy. i'm going to start stripping my old zed on saturday, so will be looking at having a tech day in around a months time. Can anyone who come round and give me a hand either on the day or any weekend before? i have a few mates who are going to help me strip the car down but i cant expect them to come round every weekend until its done... so PLEASE, anyone who is willing to help, let me know and i will organise something once i get the ball rolling. cheers
ok, so the zeds back home now, i've started stripping the front panels off to inspect the damage. i'll be buying a rolling shell next week and will hopefully have it at home in the next 14 days, so i'm hoping to have the interior fully stripped and hopefully the engine out aswell. if anyone can give me a hand, please let me know.
