WA TECH DAY....SUNDAY 5TH APRIL

OK boys and girls, Ive been massively overdue for some work on my car and i know of several other people needing tidy ups and services (adam, im looking at you!) so i will be hosting a tech day at my house (balcatta).....

i will be doing a complete plenum pull,egr removal, radiator removal, waterhose bypass, fuel line and filter replacement, plugs and probly more, so if anyone wants to see how these things are done, then come along and learn!! Even if you dont intend on doing work to your own car, still feel free to come down and learn or help others, this is what techdays are meant to be about!

i will also be available to help other people with the work on there cars if they so desire, and im sure many others hands will be able to help aswell

concreted parking spots for 5 or so cars are available to use on the day
start time will be 12 noon on sunday 5th april, some drinks and bbq will be provided.....if you intend on coming please let me know for catering purposes

i am so there...

 

will try make it rossco, i owe you a helping hand on your car after you've helped me with mine.
will bring tools as well. do you need me to bring any spares? Got an accumulation of bits now

won't be working on my car obviously but happy to help with plenum pulls, EGR removals etc if people have all the bits ready to go.

 

just bring socket sets mate, that would be sweet....

if everyone brings a socket set, then we will have plenty of tools

also, someone bring a grinder for me (small one), and as many extension bars as you can find (they are always helpful lol)

 

and your gazebo thing, bring that 2 for a little extra shade

if you can be bothered.....and axle stands if someones got them.....

so who else needs work done, anything from changing brake pads, front/side mount installs, anything can be done

Aidan still has the Gazebo. Aidan, bring the Gazebo, ok.

I can borrow a small grinder and I have other various tools.

anyone who has datascan or similar, bring it and we can check peoples codes as well, ill need it for my car 100% hehe....lots of codes on mine garaunteed!!

 

I can bring my lappy. My cables wired into the car, but I can pull it out - I think.

I need my new clutch to be put in but i have no idea how but ill try so i'll be there and hopefully learn as much as i can. Do we have to pay the people who work on our cars in some way be it cash or cartons?

 

no you dont pay,

but if you brought round a carton or something to share im sure everyone would be happy

i dont know how to do a clutch, but im sure someone can help out?

 

clutches are easy. i would reccomend doing it at your own house tho. get it jacked up and take the exhaust off..

then organise a tech day . as its going to be impossible 2 remove the box/exhaust if youve driven the car because of the heat !

 

god damn rosco i was gonna hold one at mine that weekend hahaha...all my parts rocked up yesturday! so im set!

Maybe it will be best to save my PP for another day? or u recon we could swing two in one day? LOL simmo love on mine, rosco love on rosco.... (kinky i know)

yeah we can do 2 easy as mate

so long as we have all the parts......and besides im on holidays so if mine doesnt get finished i can tidy it up the next day.....
