    Hey guys,
I am about to buy a td06-20g setup with pentroof manis and hks external gates.

I have done a quick search and cant get too much info on when boost should come in(i cant understand turbo graphs)

Also obviously i will be building an engine to suit, who can give me pointers on cams to suit these turbos?

    Any help will be appreciated

They are big and an old design. not as big as twin 3071's have you had a look at the exp 90 kit from specialty z?? these would be for a drag oriented car.

    From ztz

    640cfm @ 2PR @ 68%.
    685cfm max flow @ 68% 2.35PR or 20.7psi.
28psi max boost limited by compressor wheel speed.

Cams will have to be fairly big to suit those turbos, and they will come on LATE. I hope you have an engine ready to rev to 8500+rpm.

Mate I had T07 on RB25Det R33skyline only good for drags up to 7 secs slower than 300zx 236 kwatrw with smaller t28 turboed so torque is better at racing at wakefield than power that comes too late after 4500 rpm

    they are as big.

    run 272 cams

    either JWT R5's
    or JUN 68 cams

you can get them spooling pretty decent with the right engine

I've seen them run on a 300ZX. Big turbo's, lots of lag, standard engine mounts should not be used as it blocks the intake, but they can make LOTS of power with the right setup

    400ft-lb's at 4100RPM ain't THAT bad.
And I was thinking of using just 1 of these on a 2 litre. Lol.
2 of them would be insane! :)
Good value as well, the TD06's. :)

Yeah the power curve on that silver zed is fairly good IMO. Also i've seen Kinugawa/Kando Dynamics TD06-20G's do 270rwkw on an RB20 and 308rwkw with E85 on the same engine.

Twin 3071 equivalent as bb said -

For street I can't see these being much fun - but for drag or track or a dyno pony sure why not -

Cams listen to BB he knows :)

3071 slightly bigger on the compressor side but smaller on the exhaust side.

    compressor TD
    2.07"/52.6mm
    2.68"/68mm

    Turbine TD
    2.17"/55.1mm
    2.56"/65mm

    compressor 3071
    2.08"/53mm
    3.00"/71mm

    Turbine 3071
    2"/50.8mm
    2.22"/56.5mm

you compare flow capability of both.. to work out potential hp

you forget that housings make a difference .
our version gt3071r comes with a choking .64 housing and cropped T3 turbine wheel (better spool)

like I said they will make similar power. (if anything the TD0 will flow slightly better with bigger turbine wheel and housing but laggier)
