    Gold Coast Fuel...

The price up and down the Coast over the past 2 days has been a bit of a concern actually...

I paid $1.06 unleaded WITHOUT a 4c a litre off docket at one servo, then only 5 mins up the road the price is still sitting up around the $1.24 bracket.

Continued driving and found another Caltex servo that is also in the high 1.20 bracket where as the first Caltex was only $1.06.

Am I missing something or is there a confusion somewhere with fuel prices at the moment?

I'm aware that they found a new oil supply in mexico and that caused a sudden drop in price. But why are the prices so out of whack within such short distance???

    Anyone know?

in perth it jumps from $1.15 to $1.30... i heard a report onthe radio saying that some servos are still trying to milk the price as much as they can... alot of people can't be bothered driving another 2kms to save 15c so they are still making a good profit..

Well u guys have still got it over us poor Taswegins!

Standard price for premo at the mo is about $1.34, fairly even over the state, a little cheeper down south, even though fuel arrives via ship in Devonport! (North)
    Sheesh!
