Targa Top Hook Finisher Install

Hi Peeps

I recently replaced my T-Top Hook Finisher and was wondering if it would be beneficial if I put up a how to. I took pics throughout most of the job and only ran into a few snags. I have looked for a step by step instructional on the forum but could not find one. Just didn't want to duplicate, so let me know.

When I took the old one off this is what I found:


As you can imagine...not happy!

So I cleaned, sanded and rust converted:


A lick o' paint n clear and good as new:


Gotta say...the colour match done for me was great! The fellas at Crash Supplies really took their time!

Anyway, finished product:




Let me know if the people could benefit from a how-to!

would love to know how it was removed, ned to re-wrap my t hook in vinyl, due to it being peeled off :\

Hey abraham I'm just going to be getting it from coz with a few other things, If you guys want we can put an order through together and save on shipping, theres one other person who wants to do a group order in Melb so that would mean four of us if you guys are in, then shipping wouldnt be more than 10-15 each I reckon.

And Yeah Abraham it would be good to install them together if thats what you mean.

 

Im getting a few things from a nissan parts seller in the US...all up im paying for the targa top hook and 2 other things like under $180 so it works out cheaper to get it from them, thanks anyways...but yes thats what i meant lol it can be like a mini tech day

 

Awesome then, i should be placing my order like next week and roughly get it in 2weeks, let me know when you get yours and we can get together to fit them.

 

No problem. Im waiting for a final price and i should pay by this thursday when i get paid...so hopefully within a week or two i shal have them...
