I'm considering buying one the Targa Hooks that are on eBay for $89 at the moment - how hard are they to put in?
Not too bad... just time consuming They aren't too bad to install, and there are tech writeups for it around. Allow yourself 2-3 hours to do it neatly (without snapping things), as you have to remove the sun-visors, A-pillars, climate control unit, and internal roof coverings to get to the nuts under the targa-hook. Hint if you do it: you'll need to install the new targa-hook starting with the nuts at one end, and work slowly to the other, as it is under a fair amount of stress and doesn't simply slide into place.
