Does anyone know if the tailshafts are different between 2+2 and 2+0? The manual seems to state that there is only a difference between at/mt and na/tt

hey Biggie ... do not know whether you have done a search on this one but in the past there has been extended discussion on tailshaft sizes ... i think at one point it was DINOZ who compiled a list of all the variables ... ???

I did search however I found nothing like that otherwise I wouldn't waste my time asking :p

2+2 is longer so the rear section of the shaft is longer than for a 2, PLUS there are differences in the rear yokes that bolt to the diff between NA's and TTs. The best way to tell is from the parts fiche not the service manuals, because if there are differences between models then they list different part numbers

I was looking at the parts fiche, however it doesn't state measurements so not really useful.

Anyone got the measurement for a NA MT tailshaft?

Well that's an entirely different question from "is there any differences". So which model body measurement are you after??? 2 or 2+2 as they are different

I would've gone off the manual measurements if there weren't. 2+2
