Hey guys... Poking around the bay noticed a couple of the tabs holding in the electrical connector on top of my injectors have broken...this easy enough to replace? Its leaving my connectors loose and Im assuming also causing runnning issues Cheers Dylan
Generally the 20+ yo plastic used within the connections become brittle and snap over time.. Its always a good idea to replace injector & coil connectors with brand new ones.. Cut off old ones, solder on new ones and cover with heatshrink. Actually its a good idea to check all connectors and service/replace as necessary. Generally you can get misfiring or hesitation issues. Replace if you have these issues or if you want to do preventative maintenance..
I think hes talking about the injector connectors (female) not the male injection leads themselves Is that right DJHZED? considering its a plenum pull first to get to them (if you are talking about the female connectors) - its not that hard in the scheme of things
