I haven't test fit a set yet but i'm assuming the splits divorced section is smaller on one pipe to clear the steering??

Those ones they call "expansion" dump pipes. How well they clear steering depends on your manifolds, and type and condition of engine mounts. Worst case just heat and hammer....

So i havent been able to find LHD or RHD versions of these, can they fit to either Zed but just switching sides?

No such thing as LHD/RHD versions

That puts my mind at ease but hen why's one bend so much shorter than the other?

The reason they aren't identical is because of the position of the turbos on our engines .

picture will explain... wastegates are on the same side/position and passenger turbo sits with more angle making the pipe work longer

Cheers for the pic, makes things much clearer. Still a little confused as to why the smaller pipes is longer on one. I see why one dump is over all longer tho.

They clearly designed it wrong, I'll send them an email right now.

Probably to clear something that will become clear when you go to fit them?

Don't be a dick, we all know there was a lot of testing to make these the way they are. I wanted to know why.

now that that's all cleared up, who thinks I should cut out the divorced sections of these beautiful dumps for removable screamers?

    hahaha

    This pretty much covers it.

I had these fitted to my car recently by my mechanic (Andrew ASR automotives) and "heat and hammer" had to be used to clearance the drive shaft apparently.

    Pics below

(The leaking fluid is oil from a gear box breather line my mechanic installed).

Ive never seen any clearance issues with oem manis and varying degrees of oem engine mounts from totally f'ed to brand new.

Were not talking about oem manifolds, rather after market dumps.
But I have heard from a few ppl now that mounts have a lot to do with clearances.

I was planning to use to holden mounts on the stockies. Should be fine right?

Is there a better choice of mount for these?

But the turbos hang off the manifolds, and the dumps hang off the turbos... Has more to do with it than you'd think

    Shhhh expansion dumps

    I run these.
    AMS manifolds:rolleyes:
Dumps needed to be hammered to clear the steering shaft/rod and I come within a cm or 2 of contacting engine bay sides

So your running ams manifolds and dumps? Does your turbo sit hard against the manifold?
This interests me as you have good engine temps and power.
