    Hi guys,

I have recently got myself a 'new' '89 TT and had a question.

I was under the car yesterday afternoon changing the oil and filter and was trying to find a power steering leak when i got a bit carried away with the degreaser (6 for only $9.95 @ autobarn :D ).

I sprayed some on my suspension parts to see what brand they were, wiped some grime away and....they were green with that groovy T, SCORE!!!

Now i have since figured out they are an adjustable model, but im not too sure what model they are, is there any easy way to tell without taking the front wheel off and looking at the sticker?

They are only silver at the tops in the engine bay, thats why i didnt realise i had tein goodness

    Peace out

    Jay

Since when was it hard to remove a wheel???

    :p

So you have adjustable coilovers??? So the struts are silver, and the springs are green??? I'm confused

Just take a wheel off

Im a lazy bastard, thats why its hard.

The top of the struts (the top bit u see in the engine bay) are silver, the rest of it is green.

My wife asked i didnt get the number plates Jay-300, i told her it was a little too similar to another members plates, and i dont want to be associated with him :p

in your engine bay where u c the shock mountings is their like a long nut sticking out with like a bolt on it?and yes its wud be silver and you should have green springs with a tein sticker on it and at sum point on the shock itself you wud c a black rubber covering the top of the shock..
    hope dat helps..
