as the title state i need to know what are some essentials that i have to take off the engine or unplug or unscrew off the engine or from the engine bay before i take out the engine...also i have the car on stands but i wana take out the tranny out at the same time so im wondering how high would i need the zed off the floor to ensure that i have enough angle to take both out without damaging anything???

PS: also if i need to take anything off the zed like wire etc...can you please put a little description and location of the item(s) and how to remove it...that would be great:D

Start by having a read of the Service Manual section on engine removal.

injector connectors, coilpack connectors, ptu, cas, cts, vvt connectors, 02 connectors, det sensor, power steering lines, a/c pipes, oil pressure sensor, earth cable, un plug 12V feed near main fuse link, all obvious fuel and vacuum lines, oil cooler pipes, engine mounts, you will have to drop the wishbone for gbox clearance as well

There is a wireup in the tech section. I used that for my engine pull.

height: 96 cm to the wheel arch worked for me

    tip:
#1: read the engine removal instructions, it might make the job less exciting.
#2: buy a piece of mdf and cut it to size to protect your ac radiator, just incase u miss an electrical connector and the whole engine/tranny swings forward when she comes out:cool2:
