I have got this noise thats very hard to explain it's kinda like a whoosh when the turbo engages at the approx. 3500 range. It then disappears when further accelerating and only occurs at the start of the turbo engagment. I doesn't affect the amount of acceleration/boost/power. Goose Honk? Have you just fitted a pod filter?The noise may be recirc valve flutter which sounds like a goose's 'honk'. Won't do it under wide open throttle, just normal driving.You can replace the recirc's with BOV's or learn to love the 'honk'. 8-}
Yeah that sounds like it! A goose honk could definitely describe it! Fitted pod filter ages ago though (approx. 18 months)and only occured till now. Is there any way to get rid of the noise without forking out for twin BOV's?Hayden
