Bet you've never seen this one... I just put the cruise control back on after doing the LS swap last year. When I took it off, it worked fine. So today I built a bracket for the cruise cable, and reinstalled it, thinking everything would be fine. I took it down the road, and the cruise control indicator comes on when I hit the main switch, but when I set the cruise, nothing happens. What's even weirder is that if I turn the headlights on, the cruise light (the one that tells you it's set) flashes fast. If I hit the brakes, it stops flashing. If I turn the headlights off, the flashing continues until I hit the brakes, then it stops. I have no clue what's going on here. Anyone else?
Have you checked the switches at the pedals? Make sure it's adjusted correctly? Theres two for a manual I'm pretty sure.
Light switch has nothing to do with the cruise control - so maybe a short between the cruise and light switch wires - (there located pretty close to each other near the wheel hub)? I'm just guessing - but it seems logical enough
