Was gutted the other day when I found out my TT turbos exh housings are from an auto (.54). Seems most used import motors here are autos these days, so anyway I pulled out all my 200sx turbo spares on the bench and did some head scratching. I know the 300 manual turbos are AR .62 4 bolt pattern and the 200 sx s13 T25 are AR .64 5 bolt pattern. Both the 300 and 200 have .48 compressor sides. If I mated the .64 from the 200 sx to the 300 .48 comp from the 300 would there be a shit load of lag or would the slight difference between the .62 and .64 exh housings be minimal?
    TIA

    same shit between the .62-.64

p.s why where u gutted? the smaller housing will aid in response but obviously be a downfall in the top end... hence why the auto's have come out with a smaller exhaust housing. a large exhaust housing would feel shit on an auto unless u have bigger turbos or highflowed turbos with more powerrr to begin with....

.63 stock housings are alot smaller than the .64 5Bolt

    .63 is T2
    .64 is T25

Hey thanks, this turbo issue is becomming a pain as I need to sort it as its holding up the motor fitment, I have since yesterday found a set of new gt2560 and a pair of new gt2871 both at the same price. These are obviously the way to go as apposed to buggering around with hybrids that I have spoken of in my earlier post, they do come at a cost but in the long run worth it. Will have to sell my turbo honda cbx 6 to fund the rest of this build. Which of the 2 types do you guys recommend as I have rebuilt the motor with 88mm wisecos, 550 injectors, stock rods, ACL bearings, 12lb flywheel, arp head studs and cometic head gaskets. I am leaning towards the gt2560.

    mr zed x chassis scrubbin..

    keep the stock auto turbo's.
up the boost, and use NA drive change + gearbox.

while it may lack the top end power, your low end would be insane.
im still really deciding whether i just chuck the auto TT into my manual NA or use the GT600R turbo package.
