    Hello everyone,
    about 5 or so months ago I imported my Z32 2+2 N/A 5spd and she's beutiful only thing though is recently i have noticed a whistling sound from what sounds like to be from the engine bay area, possibly the intake side of things!

    I had this same sound appear a couple of months ago, changed the air filters and haven't noticed it until recently. The current filters are stock replacement filters (paper) and I'm beginning to think they may have already clogged up and are forcing the engine to suck harder and produce the whistling sound.

    I seem to be the only person tuned into it enough to hear it most of the time but in places like drive-thu's and carports you can hear a distinctive whistle much like a turbo or even more like a rampod whistling away.

    I wonder if anyone could shed some light on this matter?

    I have a couple of thoughts that spring to mind straight away

    1. blocked filters
    2. leak in one of the hoses or connections on intake side or;
    3. This is the sound all Z's make in summer when they have trouble breathing in the hot air ???

    Any suggestions???? Thanks ppl
