Squeal from driver side front wheel at speed

Hi all, I've been having an intermittent squeal sound coming from what I think is the driver side front of my z32. It's occurring at speed (like 70km+) and seems to be quite randomly occurring.
Not sure if it's brakes that need replacing or what, but it seems really weird that it's occurring at speed (not braking).
Any advice or tips to check? It's quite frustrating to hear whilst driving :(

Have you checked the condition of your Front Disc Brake Pads?
Are they badly worn(thin pad material)?
Do you have the thin, metal, Anti Squeal Shims fitted behind the Disk Brake Pads?

Next time you here the noise put the brakes on, or turn the steering. If the noise stops under breaks or in a turn it is likely to be a wheel bearing. If it gets worse or no different I'd be looking at the brakes.

Pull the wheel of and look for issues. Make sure you put it back on tight. A loose wheel as well as being dangerous would result in a loose brake rotor.

Hmm, I'll have to check. I thought it was a bit weird that a squealing brake would be whilst at speed and not braking, but I guess I'll pull the wheel off and have a look. I did a cursory inspection and everything seemed to be tight, but it has been a while since I've done the brake pads I believe, so perhaps that's causing issues...
I hope it's not a wheel bearing, sounds expensive to fix! :(

Some pads have a steel gauge that scrapes on the rotor when the pad gets low as a warning indicator.it squeals when they get low
