Now i've got the V8 in, the front sits up a bit so Im looking at having the springs reset Heres an Autospeed artical on spring resetting http://autospeed.com.au/cms/title_Resetting-Springs/A_112276/article.html As anyone tried it and does anyone in Perth know who can do it?
wouldnt it be easier just to put some lowered springs in? eibachs or teins or something springs are cheap as
A while ago i contacted King Springs about suspension set ups and they said they make up springs to suit different set ups. Custom set ups didn't sound that exspensive so maybe give them a call. Cheers Dave
It's not rocket science, I've had a pair of leaf springs refurb'd in the past and it was real cheap. You should be able to get away with getting springs reset for less than the cost of new.
Yep exactly. What he said! Its a simple procedure except for the time they actually have the springs to do the job. Only reason Id buy something else. L8r E
Isn't the ghetto way to put blocks under the car that are at the required desired height then with the oxy heat the springs up and let them sag until the bodys on the blocks then let them cool. Bang. Done. Nice and unevently tempered springs.... :/
