Hey all, Just a question it may have been asked but i cant find anything about it... ok my rear spoiler is stock but i needs a paint job (my car is metalic grey and the spoiler is black) anyway the thing is its got a sort of bubble ripple thing happening over the top of it. can this be fixed or do i need a new spoiler. cheers
They generally get worse over time, you can do a number of things ie get a repacement stock one, get no spoiler and get the third brake light from Cresta or get an aftermartket one and possibly a third brake light from cresta
Rust? I seem to recall there is a metal frame inside that rusts and that's what causes the bubbling. I'd be looking for another one in good nick and tossing your old one out. Fortunately the later models came with a 4 post spolier and don't have that problem
Yes it will definately be rust, I had the same problem and my metal core had turned to powder I'm just going for a infill panel, but I have seen fibreglass ones similar to the stocky but has a longer 'wing' so to speak was about $400, hence I got the infill panel Can't remember which shop it was, somewhere on the net, but based in Sydney.
If you are referring to the third brake light panel UAS and CRESTA, but remember you also need to fill in holes and get the back painted with this method aswel
He's already getting the whole car painted, so it'll add another $100 if you cant weld or bog. I'm just getting insurance to pay
That wasnt clear in his post he said that he needs it due to the spoiler and car being different colours so wasnt too sure if he would still want it if he didnt have a spoiler

Once you get that bubbling in the spoiler... ... she's gooooooone!!! Don't go Brazillian! Find a nice wing and keep that sweet Z shape!
Hey mate if you contact CRESTA (John) he should be able to give you more info but i think not the hole width just a small panel that holds te middle brake light
Bad Luck Cresta had some 3rd light panel on the boat from Japan, Think I snapped up the last one on this current shipment, Dont know if he keeps them in stock or has to order them OS..... Best of luck getting one, and how do you fit them? Raheen
