.. well the Blue side!!! Went to the All Ford day at Warwick Farm racecourse today (Ok my uncle is in the Mustang club and I helped him with their display) Close to 1000 Fords (100 or so Mustangs) and the only 2 cars I felt like taking home.. [image]http://www.pbase.com/image/31471393.jpg[/image] and [image]http://www.pbase.com/image/31471579.jpg[/image] It was kinda neat seeing the old causeway section of the roadracing course after all those years.. should have made the effort to get down to Creek corner!! (Guess there are not many of us that remember car racing at the "Farm"Rgds
I spent my 1st Honeymoon in the> Pit Area at Warwick Farm, during a Tasman Series Meeting, amongst a few "unknowns" such as Graham Hill, Bruce McLaren, Jochen Rhindt, Chris Amon, Piers Courage, Jim Clarke and some "hoon" called Brabham. In its day, "The Farm" was one of the best race circuits in the world. In retrospect, should have spent my Wedding Day there as well. Hey, love the Blue one:YD :YD :YD
Many a fond memory of >> Bob Janes E Type. Frank Matich's Big Bangers. And in the pits with Manton, Geoghan, Steward, & even Jackie Stewart, Jack Brabham and the like. Ahhh, for the Good Old Days at the Farm. Cheers Kerry
Leo Geohegan was there.. .. on Sunday also Allan Moffatt. AM and I chatted a while about "the Farm & Amaroo Park.
