Hey all, i know this question may have been asked many times but for the life of me i cant find a single thing relating to it in the search..... so maybe someone could help me. i need to know how to remove the speed sensor on a 1990 twin turbo manual zed. i have come to the conclusion that it needs to be replaced as i have replaced my dash cluster and resoldered all points and have cleaned all earth points around the car so this must be my prob. anyway anyhelp on the topic would be great.

    He means...

No, he means the sender unit which is located on the transmission which tells the ECU and Speedo how fast the car is going.

If this fails, the speedo doesn't register and you lose power steering.

I need to replace mine also and was wondering how it's removed because it looks like it's stuck in the transmission.

    Cheers
    Rob.

Just undo the bolt and the sensor pulls straight out, easy as. Then just disconect the wire harness.

Yeah, it's the lowest one to the right of the photo with the wire coming out. The big round grey thing. :)

    Are you selling that? :)
