Ok... who tried to race a Hayabusa and got spanked?! (Happened last night - 3rd May 07)... it was someone from QLD and well... Shame, Shame, Shame... Fate... you putting your hand up for this?! HAHAHA

between a zed and a bike?

Sounds interesting and quite possibly shame full for someone lol Was it fate? after all that money .......

 

i dont think beating a zed on that beast is much of a trophy

 

Yea, I totally agree... If anyone here can beat even an ou-of-the-showroom 1000CC or bigger (like the busa) is doing DAMN well!!! I love 2 wheels and when your on a 1000CC (sports) you know there is almost nothing on road that can beat you!!!

 

Power to weight you can't win

I told someone I know I could beat his 80's something 250cc road bike in a straight line. I'd be ashamed if I lost

 

Bikes are quick, and the Hayabusa is one of the fastest in the world. Not shameful to lose too at all.

Under 250xx you shouldn't have a problem. Even alot of sub-500cc but above that you're gonna start having problems, and bikes love to race don't they haha.

 

Yeah its my older bro who's never driven my car

He still thinks his old bike will beat my heavy old TT zed. Every time I say I can beat you ! he ses O yeah? Then we never end up racing. He has an old police XD intercepter big bore v8 he rekons could beat the humble zed as well. I'd like to put him to the test and prove him wrong lol

 

lol stock hyubusa's range from 10.3-10.9sec 1/4mile... thats faster then JPs slot car completely bog stock...

losing to a hyubusa is not a bad thing, as 99% of cars will.

love them bikes something fierce.

 

And then you stick on a turbo it and you have bike weighing 230 kg pulling off 500 bhp+

How can any car compete with that haha.

Yeah it's not a bad track there near the airport pity I don't have access to a kart anymore. How long since you where there? Are you a pro cart racer or something? What did you think of Mildura?

 

I used to race all the time,all over the place,i also raced a fair bit in Europe and the U.K ,im now a member at oakleigh track down here and only go down now and then to keep up the skills .Im thinking about taking it up full time again next race season .Ive been up to Mildura many times and had a ball.I remember it was always a very dry and hot place in summer .I should be up that way in the zed later in the year,ill give you a p/m when i do and we might be able to catch up for a chat and maybe a cruise :zlove:

in summer I hate it. But yeah if your ever in town shoot us a pm we'll have ta go for a cruise or something. This guy who works at the autobarn here has been trying to organise Jap car cruises ever since he bought an R33 gts t. I never took up his invitation but would be better with a fellow zexer on board

What kinda power figures

Are you pulling in your zed? What mods have you done? Just curious, my zeds basically stock and most of the other ones around town are also. Actually saying that most of the sports cars in town would be only lightly modded at best. Anyway should be a bit of fun when you rock up Maybe go down to the 1/8 mile drags lol. How funny is that, we have a drag track that only goes for 200 metres, retarded
