into my car exhaust... don't know what it was but someone was caught spraying an aerosol into both my car exhausts by a letter box dropper. Nothing seems to be initially wrong but does smoke slightly when i started my car. Has anyone else heard of the similar? help please? gus

Here, Here! I've just cured my Z pain but left with another one A week or so ago the phone went at 2:05 in the morning. My insomniac neighbour saying - "John, quick! There are people breaking into your car". So crawl out of bed, go the window and sure enough there's this big guy about to open the door of my 260z. Wife bangs on the window and he runs off like a cut cat, jumps into a lowered late 70's white falcon with no number plates and disappears back off to bogun-ville again. This is about the 5th time some p***k has broken into my old Z! Fortunately nothing has been permanently damaged, but I realized that I was going to have to sell the old 260z because of these continuing incidents - I can't garage the 260Z unforunately. Anyway, the old girl's off to Sydney, where she originally came from. I'll really miss her......
You poor bastard!!! Though i can't speak from personal experience, even living without my Z for a couple of weeks even days was hard enough. But having to send her away yourself. I need a crying smiley right about now. Fingers crossed i'll never have to give her up. I'm sorry to hear about your losses. Gotta love the young the old and the restelss Z's. Great condolences. FATE
some people... I remember having my first car, my L's car.. Someone had broken in to my 1977 Honda Accord, total S***t Box, they tried to steal the RADIO and they stole a pack of old fuses. All in the end cost me $55 to fix the lock, they didnt even end up getting the radio, what it would have been worth $4. And the next door neighbour had 3 of his Club sport wheels stolen, the neighbour on the other side came out in time for him to bail and leave the other wheel. Its good now my neighbour next door whatches my zed parked next her house. Id park in drive way but being the youngest with 6 cars in our family, gotta wait till later. Cheers
Thanks for the condolences I guess I've still got my faithful NA to keep a smile on my face! Except I have to be careful with THAT because of the "keying brigade" - which means strictly driving it from my place to a friends place and not parking it in the street at all. Sometimes I wonder I wonder if it's all worth it - then I go for a drive in my Zed and - yep - it is! PS Your Sig is very clever - sure can relate to that one!
