a friend & i tooks some pics of my Z one night ages ago & i have stopped being lazy & had them scanned in ... these were my first attempt so they are pretty crappy & over exposed but i thought id put them up anyway... i might try using digital next time
film cameras can do just as good or better than digital if done properly and with a good camera The long streaks of light is by setting the shutter to open for a long time and moving the car around a bit
i was using colour slide film in a canon SLR ... had the camera on a tripod with the lense open for roughly 30 secs (i think the apeture was f.11) and then just drove with the head lights on
i have no idea what that means but the results are awsome lol i particularly like the swirly burnout one my knowledge in photography is limited - my friend would know all bout it though
Basically, if you slow the time the camera actually "takes" the photo, the colours, in this case, the head lights, blur as the camera takes a longer time, to capture the image, giving the swirling/blurr affect. Very awesome use of the shutter speeds and lighting, well done! :zlove:
Oh wiked I studied photography for a bit did a few of these I will have to post some pics of Z going sideways at night
haha yeah but i wasn't doing burnouts, i was driving at probably 10k's p/h .. does look suss though lol
yeah i was thinking of trying a similiar effect up in the hills where i live, but this time ill use a digital SLR & see the difference ... hopefully it will come out looking more sharp
Bloody Beautiful.. ..mate>! Looks great. What type of rims are they, how much and where can I get some..?? They'd look good on my Red Z:bow2: :zlove:
