Some of us Vic people had our cars on display at the NDSOC Show and Shine at the Docklands... Nice weather, and a good turn out of a variety of different Nissans from all over the years. Below are some pics. Always have fun at these days and nice to catch up with familiar faces..
Nice job boys, and great writeup Mark. I'm dissapointed I couldn't make this one even to visit, but next year I'll be presenting with you.
Looks like a nice place to have it! I wish I could have come ...I finally dragged myself out of bed at 12pm lol...
Nice to catch up with everyone again, thanks to people who leant me cleaning gear as all my stuff is packed away in boxes. Cleanest my car has been in a long time!
Looks like a great day, nice pics Mark..spied in your pics an old friend from my R31 club days, Caz in the red GTS2, plates GTS145...super clean concourse condition R31 ...I remember pointing out a missing bolt on it at an actual concourse and she nearly freaked, ended up stealing a bolt from one of her other 31s there I think Looks like a really nice spot to show the cars off as well and nice weather to boot! Cheers! Craig
Nice day, nice setting, nice people and nice food. It was top way to spend a relaxed Sunday. Very happy that I put the sunscreen on though.
RZ2 is looking AWSOME and dammmm those r31 gts are soooooooooooooooooooooo sweett i love them :drool:
Wasn't a hiccup Karl, more like a fatal embolism ..... At least with a machine, hearts can be rebuilt after they kark it! I am now running what could almost be described as a "forum motor!" The last step is to retune the HiTec with Bob; need to book some dyno time. Shortly after that result I should get around to doing the RZ2 rebuild project thread update, which should probably now become the RZ2 rebuild rebuild! Can't believe that after some "secret men's business" discussions at/after the show (about events that will hopefully occur in the future ) that I am already thinking about the next build! And as PB said, it has already been track tested and survived intact. Next stop, Sandown in January ... 'Twas a good weekend, enjoyed fielding a few questions and comments from passers-by. Pigged out satisfactorily in the restaurant zone (twice), forgot to apply the sun screen early so I matched my car yesterday. Always good to catch up with other Zedders at events like this .
it was a good day just thought i would say what a good day i had. it was my first show a shine meet and i got around to most of the cars on show and most where well presented. the zeds looked good i must say even mine stacked up i thought. good to catch up with the zed crew and the ndsoc guys a very educational day to know more about the older classics on show. cheers bigmax:zlove:
nice turnout guys. just wondering if this event was open to anyone or just to Ndsoc members?? im asking because i would love to enter my zed in a show and shine one day.
And the winner is................Mark (Jedi77) who was handed the trophy at the NDSOC presentation dinner last night.
Nice work Mark, sorry I could not stay to see it. He almost won himself a position on the board too...
