One of my old mates just bought one. Pretty standard apart from 15psi boost. Says he kept up with a Z3. Does this sound write??

they come with different engines..

they go from 0-60 in the 9 second range, right down to the 5 second range.. even then 5 seconds isnt exactly blisteringly fast

maybe your mate raced one of the 160bhp ones

Mate if you think 0-100 on 5 is slow..I hope you have over a million bux to buy a bugatti veyron that does high 2's.
Natural stock Zds are around 8...tts being over 5 to 6.Already pretty fast compared with standard run o the mill cars right?
Buy a ducatti if the 0-100 thing is your shine.

 

no, my tt with na diff, fmic, 3"turbo back, pod (stock boost) just pipped a stock m3 (half a car length) ur mate in the soarer is lying to you.. either that or the guy in the m3 was just playing with him

 

now now, dont put words into my mouth, i did not say 5 sec 0-100 is slow, i said it's not blisteringly fast, its definatly not slow, but it's nothing special either.

if i could get my zed to hook up with some slicks on a sticky surface, drop it from 5k and just hook up instantly without anything snapping, im confident i could rip off a 4 sec 0-100, since i do 5 flat according to a g-tech on the street as is..


0-100 in 5ish seconds is a common number, by common i say that because there are alot of car's on the road capable of that time.. it's when you start getting under 4 seconds thats when it's just like holy shit.

 

I have been for a run in it. Seems to take for ever to change gears 1st to 2nd. Quickest auto I have ever been in though..

Yeah my BRO just bought a BOSS 260KW XR8.. He know's not to mess with my tt. He was shattered when took him for a run. He heard to many stories abou them being heavy and slow... :zlove:

 

as most people hear. i tend to like the zed being called slow etc. love being the underdog then flying past an evo

My mate works up north in mechanics and earns a crapload so wehnt and bought an fpv gt.
Had to listen to im go On and ON about how he was taking out this car and that car....
In the end id had enough...just where we live there is a nice stretch of road about 300m long....he almost cried.
And...mine is stock tt.HAHAHA
