wonder how much a new rear qtr from japan would be..

sandeep got a new rear qtr ordered from japan and welded in. for his car.

    might be worth doing that..

that rear bumper looks like it can be repaired. but their cheap anyway.

    cracked wiper bottle?

The Outlander and Commodores were both ride offs, my Zed however after its 304,531KM was strong as ever and only suffered a puncher-ed back bumper and cracked back wiper water bottle (gave me a heart attack at first as I thought the dripping water was fuel).

your zed is a 4 seater yes?

i dont believe you have a rear wiper bottle........

Ah, not a nice thought. It hasn't dripped today at all and I fueled up fine last night with no leaks.

I will take everything out of the rear tonight, and try to find where this liquid is coming from. I leaned down after the incident just to smell whatever it was, it definitely was not fuel.

Noticing the car is idling very weirdly though, however my clock is now working fine and remembering the time lol! the anti lock light has also come on :(

antilock light is on, likely means brake fluid is low, and that could be what your leak is, coz the other liquid at the back of the car is brake fluid.....

The liquid was like water, wasn't sticky at all however I had more of a look at the damage today and I can say I think I was very lucky.

If the car went any forward it would of pushed my whole fuel system out of alignment. Spoke to the insurance company, they said they can chase down the Outlander driver. I have to wait a few days then take the Zed down to Vermont to their center. In the meantime I am going to get a local smash repair to get it looked at.

I took out all the carpet in my rear compartment to see if I could find a water bottle to find where that water was coming from and the black boot panel was pushed in a bit. I hope they attempt to repair my car and don't write it off just because of how old it is. I hope they don't because I have put hours and hours of work into it to get it back into its optimum condition.

I have already been offered a rear bumper for $100, hopefully my insurance experience is good, but I will do what I can to get a quote from local panel beater or smash repair.

The Zed still handles well however, just don't want my pride to be a write off.

Thanks guys for all your comments, even if it is about my white shoes, slippers or socks. They match the Zed.
