I have noticed over the last few days, that when i pull up to a set of lights for a long period of time i get some smoke comming out the exhaust. It doesn't happen on boost, or normal driving. Its only after leaving the car to idle, slowly i start to get a greyish smoke appear then its quite noticable. Its not full oil smoke, nor is it fully white smoke. It only happens after a period of idel, and if you rev the engine up it clears itself for a while then comes back. Help?? Could it be emission valve related? EGR, PCV, etc? Thanks for your help Kind Regards Clint
Sounds like your turboes are on the way out, you need to replace your turbo gaskets, seems like a perfect time for you to upgrade to GT28RS twins
i had the same problem... and thought it was turbo seals...but it turned out that it was a cracked inlet turbo pipe...i dont know how bit wheni replaced the cracked pipe( the one with the ribs in it) the smoke has all gone away ryan
Your a lucky one arent ya! my turboes are fine for everyday 14psi driving but how much longer there gona hold i hve no idea! i want to upgrade to GT28RS twins. My sig still has Z-500 and im going to achieve that power figure!
