    Hi guys,

I washed my car the other night and now my transmission slips when 2nd or drivve is selected. If I put it into 1 it doesn't seem to slip.

Its most noticeable when taking off from a standstill, but every now and then after driving I can start from a stadnstill in drive and its fine.

I did a transmission service the day it started happening but there was no change. I have an aftermarket trans cooler also.

Another funny thing I've started to notice and I'm not sure if its related is that the power light flashes 3 times or so each time I turn the car on.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Sounds like a blocked filter

Did you replace/clean it when you did the service?

    Transmission Service

I replaced the filter and the fluid now looks good as when I check it via the dipstick.

Should I change it again anyway?

run it around first and let the fluid circulate

change it after 150-200k's (or longer) depending on how the car feels.

Did you replace the O ring on the filter

And grease it before fitting it.
How much oil did you put in,.

Yep I replaced the O-Ring, but didn't grease it.....

I think I remember putting about 4.5L in, I didn't flush it cause the fluid looks really good now.
