Not from factory, but you can convert a 2+2 to a slicktop

Holy crap, those replies were quick:eek:. Yeah I figured that would be the case. I'm not a real big fan of the targa top. A conversion might be more than its worth with interior lighting, relocating the seat belt from the door, roof lining and what ever else.

anything is possible with enough money, but it wont be cheap. if it is a project and you have money to throw around then go for it, otherwise i wouldnt bother.

your better off buying a slick top or just leaving your 2+2 as is

Actually they work quite well. You put under bonnet sound insulation between the sun shades and the glass and permanently glue the sun shades in place.
To paint the glass they need to scratch the living shit out of them then spray a undercoat then the paint.

I have now gone for a completely black roof and also a set of glass roof panels.

I'm toying with the idea of welding my roof up, that or just getting some of the UAS carbon targa's when they finally come into production.

    AndyMac Better than you

80,000JPY wholesale if you could find one. Then you need to butcher the roof, weld it in and do the interior work.

After having driven a 280zx for several years and a z31 before that, I'm a bit surprised how big and clumsy the z32 tops are.

It's a lot easier to get the convertible top up or down, and you don't lose any space when it's down

Clumsy or not, I love the T-top.
